    Dropbox failed and won't re-install!

On my home machine (XP) - Dropbox has stopped working and won't re-install (says install aborted after 50 %)

I've googled but no solution offered is working

Anyone else had this and what did you do to fix it?

    Simon

PS Dropbox is my life both for sharing tech stuff between my school servers so this is a BIG issue for me

I had this with s software restriction policy but I doubt that's relevant in this case!.

mm - just looked at Dropxbox site and they've released a new version 2 days ago

I've downloaded 1.6.14 and it all works again

So off to tell Mr Dropbox that he has a little bug somewhere in the new version

^^ is actually good advice. DropBox downloads have been dodgy for me at the best of times!

I'll just wait and see what happens next time it decides to update itself

All working OK so not going to fiddle
