    ILM not working since 14/12/12

    We have just created about 250 new student accounts in AD for the start of the new school year, and I have just logged into ILM to check it was provisioning the Live@edu accounts correctly.

    However it seems it has not run successdfully since 14/12/12.

    Running the StartSync -FirstRun cmdlet shows the following error

    Any idea whats happened? We havent changed anything since the 14/12/12 and have 250 new students all needing an email account today!

    Maybe a windows update that broke the ilm wmi/PS namespace. Can you load the film commandlet manually?

    thats very likely as the last time I installed updates was 14/12!

    Not sure what you mean about loading the commandlet manually - do you mean running the

    It should have some lines like
    Using
    Or
    Import

    At the top of the script that loads the specific commands, these are what you want to check first, if they load alright try the script again from that shell.

    was the first thing i did

    Theyve said to reinstall the management agents. Ill need to dig out my documentation from 2009 to try to remember how to do this.

    I did a repair install of the management agents but that hasnt resolved the issue.

    the microsoft guy is escalating the case. I get like 1 email a day from him its a bit tedious even when I reply immediately.
    @SYNACK I'm still a bit lost... where should i look for this cmdlet plz?

    The commandlets should be in the working directory of the script that you are trying to run, probably somewhere inside the ilm program folder, just search in there for PS1 files. I have not used ILM, there may be a shell that you open to do stuff with it that imports stuff and sets the working folder automatically. Just suggesting using the same commands to manually import the special PS commands and make sure that they are actually available.

    Worked with 2nd level support and we basically had to do a full reinstall of ILM and all the components. Its all working great now.

    totally apprehensive about the migration to 365 though...

    We were given amazing support from Microsoft Australia for getting live@edu set up, but this seems to have evaporated for office365 migration...
    @jamesbmarshall i know there are a lot of australian schools here not really knowing what is going on with live@edu -> 365 and not really sure who to talk to.. (myself included)

    Do you have any contact details of any of your counterparts down here you can put us in touch with?
