One of my school secs keeps having problems accessing her school comptuer from home using CLEOs sun global desktop setup. I get it working - she takes it home - and then 2 weeks later says it doesn't work.
Anyway, heads decided to get her a school laptop and I've come to set it up and its failed
Basically, after I've sucessfully got past the login screen - its says it needs to install JRE (despite JAVA being installed) and when I click on the manual install the client - it takes me to an error apache page!
Anyone able to shine a light on this please?

29th February 2012, 06:38 PM #4 It's an IE9 issue.
If you enable compatability view for the SGD website, the Java plugin is then detected. It's an oracle issue (and very annoying one because it keeps cropping up about once a year and I've always forgotten the solution)
