Active Sync in Exchange 2010
Does anyone in a Cumbrian school have Active Sync setup and configured and working with their mobile phones using Exchange 2010?
I have recently installed Exchange 2010 and having problems trying to get it to work. Active Sync is enabled on the server (MS 2008 R2 server) but i cant get it working.
I have the web gateway setup through Cleo, so all the emails are working fine using exchange, but just having problems getting the mobiles to work correctly using active sync.
Thanks

2. Can you access OWA externally?
3. Active Synch is enabled for USERS by default.
4. I assuming you're saying it's enabled on the Exchange server which sits on 2008R2...
5. Have you or Cleo setup an external namespace for email, i.e OWA
6. Run the EXRCA https://www.testexchangeconnectivity.com/ choose active sycn and post/PM me the results.

Hi guys,
Thanks for the replies....
I have to own up to something now, i was getting an account could not be verified error message, so i was just closing it and then knocking the device off, so i presumed it didnt work.
I have later found that when you click on ok to that error, it does start to sync on your phone/ipad etc, and then after a few minutes you can get access to your emails and then you can send and receive away.
Also, the phone i was using, IPHONE 4, never had any signal in the room and it should have been connected to the wireless but it wasnt, and i didnt think about that either.
Now i have had it setup on an Iphone and an Ipad and both working fine with send and receive.
I also never had to configure anything on the server side either.
Sorry for the confusion, and thanks for getting back to me!!
