equal pay review Phase 2

Just had a letter from unison this week and it is informing us that Phase 2 is starting in the first couple of weeks of january to evaluate our posts and contacting people. Anyone else heard anything else to do with the equal pay review for us.

I got the same letter, problem is at the moment I have an it technicians job description, but am the network manager. I need to get a new job description before this goes ahead otherwise I may lose money.

Anyone else seen the job descriptions? I have been looking through them and they seem all mixed up and basic. There seems to be management responsibilities mixed in with the so called low level ones. The ICT support 1 is written in a completely different way to the other 2 as well.

I've not seen the job descriptions yet, where did you get hold of them? Can you let me know so I can take a look myself

You personnel or line manager should have had them. I know mine has had them for a week or 2.

We were told that the council hoped to have this all up and running by the 7th of this month! cant really see that happening. We were also told that the salaries would be available from tomorrow (2nd) to schools. Here is to hoping!!!

I asked my line manager - he said he hadn't seen anything but then again he hand't logged onto the portal in 5 days!

I asked yesterday and was told the head had something 2 weeks ago about the ICT Technicians, but not the ICT Network Manager, which is my role.

I have my hands on the SSSNB ICT Support role, My line manager apparently has the LCC roles so will grab them and post them up here, asap.

The LCC ones look like a cut down version of the SSSNB document.

I've been shown a document that the SBM received here via schools portal that states county hope to have everything done by the end of the academic year. Then your new salary will kick in from the 1/9/11.
