thanks, we are all set to get pay rises out of that, and 2 of us are challenging the gradings anyways! I bet the school turns around now and rejects Single Status, (being a foundation school, they can do that!!!) and we will still lose out.
I lose about the same. My ex is an EWO and their roles are going and if she gets one of the jobs on offer, she will lose around £7000. They are taking all the field workers essential car allowance off them. Basically paying for the privilege of doing their own job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STINKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is Band A lower than Band B?
Yep, it's a competency scale, to quote:
Competences are the skills, knowledge and behavious that the employee must have, or must acquire, to do their job effectively. Relevant competencies will be determined for each level within the job family structure.
So basically, we all may end up on A to pay us even less!!!!!!!!
Every level has a A and B level ranging from a couple of hundred to about £1000 difference. I don't know who decides your competency? Maybe the school to save even more!

Well I assume I'll be on band A because looking at where I am compared to others in the council in the same role, I have the lowest number of points.
I think it's absolutely shocking that they've posted all the salary grades now and told us we wouldn't be finding out til the 15th. There's something not quite right there.
Could you tell me what OP3A band A is please?

3 newly added documents on the schools portal:
1) Terms and conditions
2) Job family allocation list
3) Payline
Heres a copy of the payline if anyone hasnt seen it yet.
2 up 2 down here. Will be having a chat with management in the morning about this.
Positives
I still have a job
Can still pay mortgage
I can now (from the 1st Sept) say what I think on the phone as you are no longer paying to put up with this carp
Negatives
You want me to do that for how much!? Which universe do you inhabit?
So, if we go with this and I end up where I think based off other posts here and the odd discussion with various people, I'll end up back on my starting salary 2 years ago? loverly
The other thing I still really don't understand, if your allocated at RT1A, how do you move up to RT2A? Does it progress at the end of the year, do you need to apply for it, is it assessed? At what point does the progression stop? I haven't seen anything mentioning that yet?
