    Proxy Problems

Getting this error message every 2nd page at the moment! It started a few days ago and seems to be worse today. Wasnt that long ago we had proxy/firewall upgrades i think?

    Anyone else getting this?

    Code:

While trying to retrieve the URL: http://www.edugeek.net/forums/cleo/46579-its-christmas-already.html

    The following error was encountered:

    •Socket Failure
    The system returned:

I would have a look in the cache.log file on your proxy server to see what errors are being recorded in there.

Bearing in mind that looks like an RBC proxy, I doubt he has access to logs:

    Code:
    proxy.lancsngfl.ac.uk (squid/2.6.STABLE17)
Give the RBC / LEA Helldesk a call.

I've been getting similar things .. it seems to be since switching to the wwwcache.cleo.net.uk settings for me with the new NED updates that have brought it about, but it's so sporadic for when it happens, you can't really track it down.

I find I go along, press F5 and the page loads perfectly, but it is a weird one.

I was getting this error off and on today.
