So, can anyone give a summary of what was discussed for those of us unable to attend?

You missed a good meeting.
The topics that were discussed were:_
Apologies for the internet over the last few months and how they had rebuilt the servers.
Replacement of the cachepilots with the ned boxes and how they only had partial active directory integration at the moment but they are working on that. Also that the ned boxes are not compatable with vlans.
They discussed the cleo remote desktop and the free options schools can take up and the number of accounts for primary and secondary schools. Plus they might be looking for a school to trial student access using the system with a terminal server and the licensing problems.
They disgussed the reverse proxys being turned into nat solutions instead for things like exchange and other websites.
They discussed the e safety software and if you want prices in the next few weeks to contact Martin Quinn.
They talked about the new outlook 2007 county e-mail and that they were working on groups that could be managed through the e-mail admin screen and they were working on this at the moment and it would be out soon.
They talked about reducing electric consumption and turning ict equipment off.
They had a few minutes on MIDAS and the ability of parent to access childrens information through the interface and the possibility that schools may pick up up the admin for the parents user accounts and how much work this may be.
