CLEO Thread, NED (Cachepilot replacement) in Regional Broadband Consortiums (RBC); I've had a few issues with picking up an incorrect pac file. westfield will resolve this for you....

    I've had a few issues with picking up an incorrect pac file. westfield will resolve this for you.

    In what way doesn't it resolve correctly outside of school? I get exactly what I expect when I point my PAC to http://wwwcache.cleo.net.uk - I get told to go DIRECT because the caches aren't available from home. What are you seeing?

    wwwcache...

    The problem I have isn't my PAC coding, it's the access to the wwwcache. I was told by the engineer who installed my box that wwwcache would supersede the requirement to have a PAC file as that was basically what it's there for, which is correct, it's great in the school when it can pick up the wwwcache setting, however if I push that out then laptop users with home internet can't then get onto the web because the setting times out.

    With my own PAC though everything works hunky dory, so I'll stick with that for the time being unless CLEO change the setting on the wwwcache setting.
