Looks like its changing from what has been put on the portal today following the ICT focus group.

OC currently have no plans to replace Sophos and have recently extended the contract with Sophos. However, we plan to remove Sophos from the bundle so schools can purchase separately - this will also ensure that each school is fully licensed for the number of devices in each school. Pricing will be released as part of the 2014/15 SLA

It said on the portal post that it was to do with licence issues to make sure we are all covered. More like they have see another money making opportunity as it will be per device licence.

If you are on EEES you can use System Center Endpoint Protection 2012 for nothing. Have SCCM manage it will be a plus, its not expensive for SCCM. (less than £100 per year).
