I after a Server rack or 2 to house some servers.
Anyone throwing any out that I can take off your hands for you?
Local to Preston and North Manchester preferably as we have a Mini Bus

Is it just a Data cabinet then?
I should also add some racks for Acer servers lol

They are really deep these servers. About 25" approx deep

the Xserve is 30 inches deep. Iknow thats only 5 more but still. most server cabs that are designed for racked servers are about 800 or 1000 deep.

Freecycle has moved or something, i was a member but it wnet down, and the premisis assastant (also a member) told me something had happened to it.

John has already contacted me
And I have mainly Dell servers, the Acer ones were given to us by a University
for free. So offloading my non critical roles to them - such as IIS / Sophos / RIS etc. But uses one for ISA 2004 as it is a much better spec than what was running it.

true @ ebay...but was hoping something from schools. They seem to be looked after better I think lol

I have a large one that my old servers where in, its not fantastic and the door is on upside down and i cant dismantle it as the screws wont unscrew. Its in a container at the moment.
