    Fiat Punto Diesel

Fiat Punto 1.3 multijet diesel in metallic pale silvery green
    3 door
    53 plate
    35500 miles
Taxed and Tested until June 2009
    Tax only 35 a year
Full service just a few weeks ago and new brakes fitted
New starter motor a few months ago
Great MPG - I get around 600 miles on a full tank of diesel (approx 45) mixed local and motorway driving.
    Clean and tidy interior

Pics and price to follow later. Probably looking for around 3500, but I will check Autotrader and see what they're going for.

Reason for sale: It's just too small for me. I do a lot of outdoor stuff and with three or four of us the boot is just too small for all our kit. The curvature of the roof also prevents me from carrying my kayak on it's carrier.

Do Diesel cars give out less emissions? I pay more than 35 tax for mine and it's only a 1.2.

A 1.3 diesel? I used to have a 1.5 and that would go backwards if you didn't rev the arse off it, so imagine how quick a 1.3 must be?!

These new modern diesels give out far less. Plus the cheap tax only applies to post 51 plate cars. So even if you have an ultra efficient old car you don't benefit.

You'd be quite surprised. It's a light and nippy little beast, more powerful than an equivalent 1.2 petrol!

I think its 120g/km or less that gets you the 35. Our 1.2 Corsa we got last September is 121 and we just missed it - table here.

Yeah our diesel is about 124 or something just over the limit.

One of the new 1.4tdi fabias has an engine below 120.

I wish I'd part ex'd it for an MGF back in January when I had the chance. I don't mind running two cars if they're different.

Don't talk me to about cars dam it...

Some bright spark (me and better half) decided that only way going to get off our behinds and learn to drive is if we have a car we are pumping money into.

Anyway friend of fried was selling a punto with out tax and mot for 150 so thought can't get better deal with that.

Anyway just MOT and going to cost coming onto 400. We are holding on to fact that we knew mot would be expensive and that even at 400 plus 150 would pay more than that if brought car with tax and an MOT.
