So, basically, 24 perfect thin clients at £62.50 each... How would you sort out delivery - would we have to come and collect, or could you palletise for delivery?

Is it possible to get more RAM for them? Would you happen to know what type of RAM they take, do we have to buy RAM from RM or will Crucial do?

Should take standard memory. Just have generic M/B. Not onsite again till tomorrow but will check and let you know what memory is currently installed.

If you have any more questions feel free to PM me.

Right the 2 I opened up have MS-6724 v1 Motherboards with two memory slots, one of which is free.

The memory installed is Samsung 256MB DDR PC 3200 CL3

    Hope that helps.

Ah ha... So we could probably take the RAM out of the two broken machines, give two of the other machines 512MB of RAM to make them decently usable XP Pro machines, use the other 22 as thin clients, maybe get new motherboards for those broken two... Now all I have to do is convince the bursar that this is a good idea...
