    HP 4104GL Core Switch

    We are looking to sell an HP Procurve 4104GL switch, populated with a 6x1GB copper module.

    The switch is working fine and is approximately two years old. Reason for sale is the switch has been replaced with a different brand and is now redundant.

    It comes with HP lifetime warranty.

    I would be looking for around the 575 mark. But am willing to negotiate.

    Just to let you know, the lifetime warranty only applies to original purchasers. So as soon as you sell it, it no longer has a warranty.

    Noted.

    I need to get rid of this switch, so interested buyers please submit offers via pm, taking warranty into account.

    Can you explain what you meant by 6x1Gb copper modules? as I thought a 4104 only have 4 module slots, not 6?

    No, the Gb ethernet modules have 6 1000Mb ports (don't do 10/100). I have a couple. Not sure about fibre mods though.

    Do note that production has stopped (or is about to very soon) so you won't be able to pick up modules for them, at least new, in the near future.

    @Geoff

    Sorry.

    Dmccoy is right

    It is populated with 1 module that has 6x1GB copper ports on it.
