    LTO-3 Tape Drive (SATA) & Tapes

    Don't supposed anyone has got one of these?
    Really need to start doing some backups at home, and need something to back everything up to

    Tapes would be appreciated too

    I only recently disposed of our tape drive and library but I am sure we have some tapes on site somewhere. I am in Hertfordshire. Where are you?

    I don't think you're going to get an LTO drive on SATA, all the ones I've ever seen have been either SCSI or SAS

    yeah been thinking that - though either of them should be fine if I can get a controller card!
