Can anyone give me an idea of their annual printing costs??
Ours seems quite high:
79 printers
9 photocopiers
Annual bill for 2010/11 = £58000
This covers everything (toner, paper, service charge, rental etc.)

We are around £17,000 PA for 41 printers and mfps which includes rental, toners and servicing at a rate of avg 500,000 prints per annum. We have 5 other large copiers around which do not come under the IT budgets.
what you paying per copy or print? Best way is to figure out your volume then see what pence your paying for colour and mono.
If your printing in a school then you should be on a much lower cost than private companies.
I think 4.5-5p colour is a good price for schools.
I specialise in education MPS and just came across a Lincoln based copier dealer that begins with a D and ends in wood, the customers thinks they maybe paying a bit much, they have 2 x Samsung mono A4 printers, bearing in mind these are £550 each to purchase outright, they pay £0.014 per print based on 150K per quarter for 12 quarters, lets do the maths.... 150,000 x 12 x £0.014 = £25200.00.
Say that it costs the supplier £0.06 pence to supply toner and service the kit, thats £14400 Profit !
that dealer is famous for doing those kinds of deals i believe.
I know, people on here say they are happy with them, but have they read what they are signing for and what it will cost them !?
i suppose some people dont check around or do their homework. I imagine alot of them also re sign after a yr!!
