So just how much are you being paid?

So just how much are you being paid?
You forgot your own wage
13.2k ish 52wk contract.
*Sighs*
Regards,
N.

I forgot to add that you only have to put it on the survey![]()
Besides, mine was the first entry and is a bit of a givaway. I'm just trying to see if there is a regional variation, or if schools just try to get away with paying as little as possible for large amouts of skill.
My Scale/Point is actually just in the 16-20 bracket, but as I'm term time only at the moment, that knocks quite a chunk off.
Andy.
Ok, who's the lucky b£%$^rd on 25k+?!?![]()
Heheh, I've moved from 10.5k up to 13.5k after my promotion from Technical Assistant to Technician. (Also got made permanent at the same time - 14 months after my two week contract started!)

I'm guessing the 25K is a SE based person. The higher cost of living wipes most of that out. Our pennies go alot further. £4 a pint!!!
In all the confusion here I managed to bag an upgrade. I started on 46 weeks - and I worked most of my holidays as well as those days I wasn't paid for - I was pretty quickly upped to 52 weeks, and I still don't get to take all my holidays! Last yr I was given a pay rise from 13k to 16.
Central IT start thier desktop support guys on 16k - rising to 19k automatically every year - then network support from 19k to 35k.
We should do the becta test as well to see what level we all should be on. Then we'll be really pissed! hehe
22k full-time contract with 25 days holiday, Network Manager, line managing 2 (soon 3 I hope) techs. Oh, and in the south-east![]()

Heck!
Reading this, I beginning to think I'm over paid! I get over £25k, but because I'm term time only, it goes down to £23k. We only have 500 students, and about 100 computer.
That said, I am the only ICT technician here, with loads of work, some big projects, and I can only do them whilst the kids are here
Perhaps I am worth the money after all.......

were abouts are you as i am just about in same boat but don;t get thst much but if you are down south then that would explain the difference.Originally Posted by StewartKnight
the only thing different is that i am 52 weeks of the year.
russ

£23K just for working during the term!!!
I actually fall between 20K and 21K so how do I put that on the poll?
Network manager (no assistants) in a school of 1100 little darlings (inc. sixth form) and overseeing approx. 250 clients!
