    centralised procurement

    Can someone remind me what the government centralised procurement scheme for schools IT is called.

    I recall it was launched a while back, I think becta had something to do with it.
    It was mostly for LA's. They had a website.

    what is it called ??

    They've changed their name to just 'Buying Solutions' now. They've also withdrawn the Catalist brand, so it is now just Buying Solutions as the brand too IIRC.     Good, it always was a stupid name (both of them).

    Same reason I used to name business studies machines "BS-##" at my old place

    Edit: thinking about it, they were "BSIT-##", which was even less subtle..
