those threads were interesting, but i'm not sure how widely those articles are read.
the thing that surprises me is that our 'government' and the opposition have both commited to reduce spending in the future.( if re-elected)
Hopefully this might start the death of BSF, but maybe any reduction in ict budgets might not be a bad thing in the long run anyway ?
in my opinion the overpriced gadgets such as pda's, phones, umpcs, laptops, and anything wireless are a waste of public funds.
with a little luck ict will be able to 'return' to the most reliable cost-effective, sytem of wired desktop towers, in ict suites/dual use classrooms.
so maybe something positive might come from a reduction in spending.??
guess we'll have to wait and see
