meanwhile the conservatives are calling for more open source and a less centralised approach to IT projects:

7th April 2008, 02:15 PM #3 Outsourcing = passing off problems to someone else to make it their problem. The problem is that you don't tend to get very good service so companies realise that it's better to pay a bit more to have support in house and receive better service do it boomerangs back.

probably not, they don't seem to have any policies, but it might help to wake up govt.
