Anyone read the second life neverquests in pczone?
Chris
just paid for my account looks good
Surely, as geeks we should give meeting up in there a go?
I've had an account for about a year after the BBC said they'd bought an island for Virtual Concerts (but I've never found it  )
I'm all for giving a meeting a go but we'd need a sad person (sorry, I mean expert in Second Life :P ) to organise it and guide us novices to where its held otherwise we'll never find each other)
Anyone fancy volunteering?
regards
Simon
I have created a new account (Grumbledook Hax) as I completely forgot my old one and it is now gone ...
I spent ages trying to find various places and never did ... I am presently looking for the EducationUK island, which is where soem of the NAACE members hang out to.
So thats GrumbleDook out as the organiser then ...
We'll probably have to send a rescue party in to get him back here

Simon
LOL. It's funny what GrumbleDook and webman say about MUD because one of the IRC networks i use has just bought in a MUD. It's horrid...i signed up and tried it and then never used it again.
I hate games...i have no time for games...they are unproductive and just serve to p*ss me off because i'm no good at them.
I have a 4U rack of cisco network kit and 4 servers to entertain me...why do i need some online game? </geek> lol
i a fully qualified (SL Policce force officer)
my duty is to serve and protect..
if your looking for some police at your new island im sure the police dept will help out.......
just send me a messege on... (callum Qinan)

Remember when pulling apart the posts of others you don't get accuse of pendantry (a variation of pedantry that results in people want to string something around your neck ... usually a noose or a garroting wire!)
Now that I have defended Callum ... Oi! Callum! ... remember your flamin' capitals and apostrophes of omission!
No-one can say I am anything other than fair when it comes to pedantry (or pendantry!)
Can;t we just have it as a condition of using this forum that spulling mistooks and bad use of ; when it should have been a , are ignored

Yeah we need an intergreated speel chucker :P
Desperately. For a professional site, for professional people, written by (largely) professional people, the level of written English would be laughable if it weren't so depressing. :(Quote:
