Both IE 7 & 8. It works ok in FireFox though.

Im afraid im stumped, is it putting anything in event viewer? I will ask a mod to split this into its own group so you get more responses.

We've had DEP interfere with IE and Zimbra before - perhaps this is one avenue you could investigate? To turn off in IE: Click on Tools, Internet Options, then the Advanced tab. Scroll down to Security and uncheck "Enable memory protection to help mitigate online attacks".

    Red face

The DEP option didnt work, but we may have cracked it. It seems that by adding http://mail.myvle.org/ as a trusted site corrects the problem. Have not had time to fully test it due to teacher training day, but i will see what happens next week.
