    Are they really as bad as you make out here? We are using LGfL services down in London and aside from the occasional blip its been solid since the install and we never have missed calls, one pet hate of mine!

    I'm trying to buy two extra IP handsets. As we are a pilot school I have to wait for confirmation on who I can buy from, them or a third party.

    So far I just get passed from one person to the next, no one will make a decision. I can guarantee tho, If I brought one today they
    would refuse to allow it on the system as I didn't buy through them.... or some stupid excuse!

    Wow... very backwards. People are going to flock to a system when they can't even give a pilot school a straight answer!

    We have VoIP here, not bought a new phone in a while but we just called up, requested a new one, purchase order went through and we got a phone configured so all we needed to do was plug it in. I don't know why companies make it so hard to earn themselves money?!

    Oh well, glad to be part of our service, yours sounds like quite a disappointment

    Couldn't agree more. The LGfL 2.0 service has been excellent, you do occasionally have an outage but that's more often than not either a minor hardware fault but I don't think we've had a school down for more than half an hour without it being someone physically going through a cable in the road outside.

    Definitely worth giving Nick Shea a call at Atomwide - LGfL support partner (01689 814700) - at the very least you'll be able to get some comparative prices for LGfL TRUSTNet.

    We left & not looked back, currently advising other schools how to go about it. Got meeting tomorrow with a consultant who is looking to move a number of schools. Link2ICT should really change their business strategy, but unfortunately they won't.
