I wouldn't expect these to be used as i only just got back after a break and i'd forgotten to bring my camera in for some good shots. These are just taken on my phone, but thought they'd amuse you anyway.

This room is basically an annex to the reprographics room (yes the really hot room with all the hard working machinery). There's no window and we sit on a cardboard box.

The best thing is the Apple server being used basically as a ledge to prop up the tape deck! LOL!

Perhaps we could project a montage of what not to do in a server room.

    That's an interesting cooling solution!

It doesn't so much 'cool' as homogenise the hot air so it's uniformly distributed around the servers.

I've begged them to let me have the Apple server, but it's a pretty critical part of our setup, if it goes, so does our tape carousel!

Got an IBM Fettish there Vik? hehe For some reason I thought your server room would be bigger and more grand but I don't know why. Whats the Symantec 1U box? Is it there rip off of a Smoothwall UTM?

Would you believe, our LEAs filters can actually read inside ZIP files!! It cannot see the viri coming in on emails at times, thinks dodgy emails with links to virus sites are not dodgy but thinks the trick of putting a ARW in a Zip file is me trying to hide a dodgy file and thus goes boing go back to sender and if you encrypt the zip it goes OMG I cannot enter it boing back to sender!! (Anyone would think we had an amazing Internet and Email system but its probably the worst I have ever used!!!)

Plus it said RAW files if possible
