Question about Bett badges

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone can help with a question about badges for Bett.

When signing up for Bett in previous years it's given me the option to have my badge posted to me, which I found quite useful last year as it saved me having to queue to collect it. This year though I don't remember seeing that option when I signed up, and the confirmation email I received just says "Your entry badge will be available for collection at the show, simply print off this confirmation page and collect your badge from the registration area at the exhibition entrance.", whereas I was hoping to get it posted.

Does anyone know why this might be - could it be because I didn't have a priority code to put in this year (I have changed jobs in the last year, so any Bett info would have been sent to my last job).

Looking forward to seeing some of you at Bett - I'm currently thinking about going on the Friday, but still need to finish deciding.

I didn't tick anything and I received my badge via the post along with the little info booklet.

Hmm, maybe the email is just being misleading then!

Will wait and see if it comes through the post - just wanted to check I wasn't missing anything obvious.

Last year, I just took the barcode and they printed the badge out via a thermal printer just inside the door. Took just a little bit longer than previous years, but only delayed us by a couple of minutes.

I have mine. It was posted to me with a BETT magazine thingy.

You needed to opt out of the 'go green' scheme to have a badge sent through the post. My email said...

Alternatively, if you have opted out of our Go Green option your entry badge will be posted to you approximately 2 weeks prior to the show.

Hm, maybe that explains it as I've signed up with less than two weeks to go.

TBH I'm still waiting my Visitor badge to arrive for this year and the usual mini maps etc Not good showing from them.

I have opted out of the Go Green every year and I never get mine through the post. The teacher I registered at the same time had theirs come a few weeks ago, so I think the registration system is just very unreliable.

Ive got my badge but no mini map thing which was a bit of a shame but found the new interactive map where you can add stands that you want to see to a list then it prints it off. Will just have to wait till the day for the map in the bag of errr.. 'goodies'!

Upon arrival you get a full Show Guide which has everything in it in a massive book with details of all the stands etc so don't worry about not having a mini map.
