I'd also recommend you have a listen to the last BETTRadio podcast too as it has a good guide on there about exhibitors can look good and be nice ... ranging from not reading the paper on the stand / eating a pasty through to using Party Feet / OrthaHeel to save your feet if there for all 4 days!

7th January 2012, 03:22 PM #33 Buy good footwear is a must and ensure its worn in, since I switched from Shoes to Boots my feet don't feel as tired and certainly find it more comfortable to be wandering the halls in them than shoes and ensure they are well worn in

If you don't have access to business cards you can always just prepare some printed labels instead.

@
meadowgirl - there's usually a good supply of paper maps, and the stands are in some semblance of order. At the very least arm yourself with a list of those you "must see" and go for aimless rambling after that

Is there a way to register as a private individual without giving them my work details? Last time I got in trouble after some suppliers started spamming a colleague's E-Mail address and phone with my name!

Hi folks!
First post! Been an member for nearly a year but never got round to posting!
Sorry if its off topic but does anyone know if the underground is still running between Earls Court and Kensington Olympia? I heard somewhere that it was a very reduced or non existent service now?
Cheers!

9th January 2012, 06:46 PM #39 Pretty much accurate. Best bet would be overground services if possible. Been a while since I used London rail services in that area.

Must admit, we normally just walk along the road from Hammersmith station to Olympia since the tube is very limited and can be quite busy. Hopefully it will be a nice dry day this year.

the best and easiest walk is from West Kensington station, as it's straight up the road and directly opposite olympia. You can get to it on district from earls court, if you choose right, without changing i think.
Extra benefit is that it's an absolute nightmare at olympia station, so walking in is far easier.
