Can Oracle/Sun provide provide open storage for the edugeek stand at BETT?
Could sponsor provide a Intel modular server to demo small school virtualization?
Any other ideas?

I understand a number of tablet computers, in various sizes, form-factors and with various OSes are planned; a tablet running ChromeOS would be nice to try out.

11th November 2010, 10:27 AM #3 Why not a tablet for each OS? Chrome, Android, Apple, Windows etc
Also the server room in a box thing is a good idea again, would be interesting to see it in action once again.
and someone cooking steaks would be lovely

11th November 2010, 10:57 AM #4 Could the server room in a box be vitalized with and Openfiler HA cluster providing storage to the other machines.
Perhaps we need a mac mini server in there as well!!

11th November 2010, 11:11 AM #5 The server room in a box will be there, as well as a free wireless hotspot for our members curtesy of the Ruckus wireless setup in the SRIAB. The stand will have a 'loungy' effect this BETT with sofas and coffees tables.
Also we shall not be having any terminals or anything else we can't just leave on the stand after the show finishes, as over the past few years we have found ourselves staying later and later after each show waiting on kit being picked up and it has got very frustrating. We shall be having several tablet devices on the stand including Windows, Android and iPads (hopefully) and a Sony e-book reader as well as the usual freebies and lunchtime pizza.

Two? There's more than two on the EduGeek stand. You can't miss them - they stand around wearing EduGeek-branded shirts
