Afternoon,
Well for all of you who went to BETT and who also know how much i came home with and the fact that i also won £50 in High Street Vouchers, well i had some more good news today from the security company upstairs in the gallery.
I won the guess how many smarties are in the box challenge
so now i have won all the smarties and also the security center from NOD total amount was 2735 Smarties
Also, Bare in mind that we banned the company for advertsing aswell whilst at BETT
lol! just thought i would share it with you all hehe... funny stuff!

Was there any exhibitor that you didn't get something for free from?

I love Smarties - they are my favourite sweet...
s'pose I'll have to be content with my 4GB usb stick that I blagged..not a patch on your success though

21st January 2010, 06:59 PM #10 I think EduTech should share the Smarties with all those who visited Bett but didn't win anything.

I think I might have to join you. I can just remember James coming back to the stand laden with virtually every freebie going

21st January 2010, 07:12 PM #12 I'd guess the best thing of all is that Smarties are one of the many foods which James doesn't like - looks like you will have to share them out after all :-)

21st January 2010, 08:07 PM #15 38 USB sticks (including a complete set of Smoothwall reps), 6 mugs, 2 cuddy toys, too many pens to count, cufflinks, 9 different bits of software (and some more to download for free), 9 different highlighters, 2 sets of adobe badges (one courtesy of Ric_ ... do I get bonus points for scrounging from a scrounger?), 2 CD carry cases, a tripod (ok .. belongs to Russdev ... I do hope someone had told you I've got it!), an EG mug (donated to a colleague), an EG case sticker, 3 t-shirts and a polo shirt, 5 stress devices, 2 flashing bouncy balls (again, thanks to Smoothwall), various notebooks (the paper type ... not the Lenovo type), post-it notes, 5 bars of rock (2 left), some AB Tutor Control velcro ties, lots of bags of mints and assorted sweeties .... erm ... I think that was it.
Not as good a haul as last year when I also got a Frog umbrella (donated to kmount), an Intel laptop rucksack (donated to my wife), a Microsoft IT Academy satchel and a few other small bits.
Not that this is a game ... it is a serious endeavour!
