My e-learning co-ordinator has offered to drive....
How early would we need to arrive (wednesday) to secure a place in the adjacent car park?
And does anyone know the charges?
Cheers.

Depends where you are coming from - it can often get busy in the car parks, you may be better finding somewhere to park near an outlying tube station and getting in that way.
If you do drive all the way in, get an a-z, and be really careful coming off the a40, as you basically skirt the edge of the congestion zone!
If your coming in from the North I have heard Stanmore tube is a good place to park just off the M1

Book it in advance.
Thanks for replies...
will investigate the options....
Cheers.

Yes I would say avoid going anywhere near BETT with a car whole place is mad...

the cheapest car park near Olympia used to Kings Mall in Hammersmith (about 10 minutes walk away). It's gone up in price now (web site says "from £1.50 for 2 hours") but I suspect that it's still cheaper than most places that are close.
The TfL website has to be one of the best public transport websites ever :-) A quick google finds that there's actually a list of car parks with charges - Tube station car parks | Transport for London you can take your pick of which ever looks best!

I always park in Romford and train/tube the rest. I use Barking on the rare occasion I cycle in to the capital.
