Deliberate, debate and discuss at BETT 2010
BETT returns to London Olympia in January 2010 with even more content than ever before. BETT will offer educators the opportunity to join the debate with key sector stakeholders. Visitors are invited to air their views during BESA’s keynote seminar led by renowned education journalist, Merlin John. Joined by Prof. Stephen Heppell, Prof. Angela McFarlane, award-winning teacher, Tim Rylands and RM CEO, Terry Sweeney, discussions around pertinent sector issues are expected to be lively, controversial but ultimately constructive.
Everyone is welcome to be a part of this spirited session however pre registration is highly recommended.
Ray Barker, director, BESA explains the decision for this new feature at BETT 2010; “We are currently experiencing massive changes in the sector which drives the need to understand people’s future thinking and then feed this back to the industry. Every year BETT continues to thrive because it evolves in line with current sector issues. It is this appreciation of educator’s thoughts that enable the industry to keep in line with sector requirements.”
Richard Joslin, exhibitions director at Emap Connect continues; “There are few opportunities for educators to openly express their views and voice their opinions to key sector stakeholders with the knowledge that it will be fed back to the industry. As the largest and most successful ICT in education event in the world, BETT is the ideal place to bring teachers and the industry together. We are very excited about this new feature of BETT.”
Visitors can now register for their free pass to BETT 2010, with registration for seminars available from the autumn. BETT is the world’s largest technology in education show that runs from Wednesday 13 to Saturday 16 January at Olympia, London. They can do so quickly and easily online at BETT 2010 - Welcome to BETT online.

Still, I am looking forward to it. We will be back again of course, with more cunning plans and fun tricks than ever before - hopefully I can make the whole week this time.

17th July 2009, 08:18 AM #9 I had a cracking time last year with my fellow West Norfolk NM's and Tech's in tow. Looking forward to the same this year. Killer feet again though, but more freebies......
And Securus, ABTutor, Samsung, Smoothwall and Bluepoint all did well out of it, and Ruckus will be soon as well.

17th July 2009, 04:14 PM #14 I'll be down on the stand for *1* day ... and I am not telling anyone which day (not even DB) so no-one can get me to do anything other than give out helpful information ("Hit it with a larger hammer!")
I will be down for the full week but actually getting to see things, get to seminars, try out lots of toys ... but I might visit around lunch time ... just in case there is any spare Pizza!
