Which hotel are most of you good folks in this year?
We've bagged rooms at the hammersmith novotel (mmm, proximity).
Waiting for confirmation from one of the partners but I'll be doing BETT updates over the weekend for those who have stepped forward to help out again.
I think i'll be down on the Wednesday stopping over and going to BETT on the Thursday.
Yay! I am actually going this year! The ESIS are arranging a bus and me and the head of ICT are allowed to go! It's only taken me 6 years to actually get to BETT! *sigh*
Stopping at the Hammersmith Preimer Travel Inn not to sure how far away that is from you?You have to remember that the BETT show finishes at 6pm and after we pack up and try and get a taxi back we only get to the hotel at 7pm (by which time Gav has been in the bar\pub for 50 mins), so we tend to start late in the evening. We are usually ready to go by 8-ish.
Or we just go straight into the hotel bar

Looks like I'll be there on Friday - although I've a feeling that's the same day as the Isle of Wight LEA runs a coach up for the local school staff too, so I'll probably spend my time trying to avoid customers

As Merlin points out though ... this might be a chance for it to be more about how Macs are used rather than the flashiness of them.
A bit of a shame really and no doubt they will get some grief about it. I wonder if anyone has asked John Couch (VP for Education) if this contradicts his belief that Apple have a key role in education if they can't be bothered to attend.
I might come down for the day....possibly the Thursday. Having a look at the show site, there doesn't seem to be an entrance fee....surely not?!
It doesn't cost us anything to get in... the costs are borne by the exhibitors
