Was also impressed by Impero, always put off installing a trial before because we were happy with Netsupport, but I did like what I saw from a demo. Pricy, but it's something that would be a useful tool for me, as well as the teachers

AB Tutor looked just as good and was 500 quid compared to 3k for the other solutions I looked at for a school wide license

Their licensing is good because you only need to buy them for the admin machines not client licenses.

Sorry must have missed something, who are Impero?
Very good to see @Schoolcomms & @Groupcall working together - it's not often you see competitors join forces for the greater good. 8)

One thing i saw that was awesome, was from a company called Jabbla, stand SN01 - eye control for special needs. It blew me away, how cool it was, and quick to configure, like calibrating a smartboard but with your eyes. Very costly, at £5000 for the device, but so many applications outside of special needs, like marketing, gaming, interaction, libraries. Controlling a PC, basically with your mind - i felt like Yoda.

So gutted we couldn't get back to the stand and video it as we'd planned. If the guy is around, and can arrange a local (UK) demo, i'm sure the guys would still love to do that.

Microsoft Multipoint server though not new, looks really useful, especially as a mobile lab / classroom for training.

Chromebooks are pretty snazzy too, 8 sec boot time, is quite astounding.

Who cares, we'll be closer to the entrance than they will. And we'll be sending out remote control helicopters to scout out cool stands.
