16th January 2009, 01:33 PM #4 Around the £600 mark, depends on what gets added or removed, as in we would want USB ports but unlikely to need the barcode scanner or RFID?

16th January 2009, 01:37 PM #6 Nope, cos there isn't one!
Its touchscreen finger or digitiser pen (type or handwrite) or anything not too sharp really!

16th January 2009, 01:39 PM #7 Would it withstand tip-ex on the screen?
(Yes, we've had that done here!)

16th January 2009, 01:43 PM #12 Well I gave it quite a few hard wacks yesterday no problem, I'd imagine it might scratch with a compass?
As for Tipex, yes i think so, its waterproof and antiseptic proof so just wipe it off with some white sprit!

So does that mean it will withstand heavy input from a ham fisted student with a biro?
If so does that mean that because of its robustness users have to hit the screen with a little more effort than a normal touch screen?
I'm not trying to be awkward on purpose - honest!
