Anyone else using this company for their internet?
They have had email problems for a couple of weeks now and all you get is.... "Its an old email server and we have just rebooted it......"
I know techie people aren't usually good at communicating but they are unbelievable.
They are cheap though
...but I have taken the plunge and started the process of moving to Zen and its so nice to deal with professionals. Got my Mak code so fingers crossed.

Actually ... no.
Akhter Internet, and the other sections of the Akhter group, are based in Essex and were founded by Prof Humayun Akhter Mughal. I believe that Prof. Mughal is originally from Pakistan and has numerous business links over there as well as being a philanthropist for education in Pakistan. Presently he is a visiting Professor at Liverpool University.

Well my move to Zen went perfectly. From getting the MAK from Akhter it was switched over in 3 days including the domain tag.
I now have a SMTP feed, Linux hosting package and my ADSL with Zen which (touch wood) works perfectly.
Problem is Akhter have issues with their email server which has mail for my domain stuck in it, hopefully it will be routed back to me at some stage.

Never been a member of MI5, MI6, 14 Int or any other information gathering / information analysis team ...
Oh ... and that googlewhack you did on my was pretty boring ... no, I am not a Jazz musician, a professional online poker player or a business expert in the water industry ... and the yahoo one was boring ... even if you did laugh at the pic it brought up that I posted on here many moons ago ... but the next search you did was very interesting ... oh ... and the jeans suit you with that t-shirt too ... but I would change the footwear ... go for something a little funkier ...
Got to go now ... got to move the satellite to look at something else.
Just remember ... just because you are *not* paranoid it doesn't mean the world *isn't* out to get you!!!

we use ZEN here, you wont have any problems! The good thing with us ZEN's HQ is only a few mile up the road so if there are any problems someone can pop in and then your not on the phone for hours

I use Akthers software products for managing active directory, they have two products which standout, Interjigsaw and Reminstall, Jigsaw is a great little product, it pretty much sets up a locked down environment with shared drivers, lecturer access and configures the printers on login.
Expensive but nothing compared to RM connect suite.
