Default DELL £329 desktop

I'm trying to get the current DELL desktop bargain machine for the advertised price of £329

I first of all added in £24 of extra memory but that took the price into the £400 region and then I tried adding nothing but the price ended up at £399

I'm ususally able to spot when they've slipped in something as non-default but they've got me beat today.

if anyone fancies trying it and see what price then end up at ???

regards

Simon

I am guessing that you were looking at this on there web site

Dell website does this all the time, the price that is shows before you click on 'configure and buy' is the price with there standard warrenty, but when you try and configure it it up's the service contract.

Ive just had a look and i think if you go to the support services section and then down-grade the service to 1 year collect and return, the price goes back to £329

Ta for info.

It was because I was viewing at 800x600 at school - so I couldn't see the price had gone up straight away on the right

Ignore the website, just call your account manager and get a quote for whatever you want.

They generally give us very good prices, and always include the 3yr on site service too. Plus you get UK support too.

Could not agree more, you will get far more help from your account manager and probably better prices ;-)
