14th March 2008, 01:24 PM #4 I have managed to get the rebate in the past but yeah I'd recommend you get hold of someone in HP education sales and explain what's happened.
The rebate will be run by a 3rd party company rather than HP and I'm guessing you have all the other necessary receipts and the recorded delivery information so you can make a more forceful case..

I've had confirmation that we would get cashback, as yet nothing. I'm sure it was for Jan though, so maybe we can give them a little time?!!?

17th March 2008, 12:29 PM #9 We've claimed about 4 times over the last year and had no trouble with any of them. Usually takes a couple of months but they get there in the end.
I only ever send a copy though, never originals!

They have not accepted that they have recieved the reciept even though it was sent recorded delivery. They are saying they cannot sort it out as it is not in "this office"
Now they have given the option of faxing the receipt, a task we are finding a little difficult as they have the blooming thing.
A little bit annoyed is an understatement.
I'd urge anyone to read the T&Cs very carefully on cashbacks because there are 2 clauses which some people miss and it's pretty costly if you've missed it. Firstly, the quantity you can have of whatever it is you're claiming cashback on because there's usually a limit of around 50 units. Additionally, get the claim in as soon as possible, because most of the time they only honour it for 30 days, if you miss the cut off, you'll struggle to get your cheque. It's not nice as an account manager to have to deal with an upset customer when there's nothing we can do if HP won't pay out. If you can't find the cashback form, get in touch with the supplier, they should be able to dig one out for you.
