That's not a name change - as far as has been mentioned before Mikesoft are a partner company to the IT Support Centre, unless one has swallowed the other. Either way, both names totally put me off using them - sneaky way of getting past receptionists.

Have just spoke to the managing director himself and they have not ceased trading.

I had earlier received an anonymous e-mail from a concerned source which gave me a link to a newspaper article claiming that they had appeared in court for liquidation proceedings brought by one of their suppliers whom it seems had brought the proceedings due to the fact that they had not been paid for their goods within the agreed time-scale.

Since speaking to the company director he has been totally upfront and honest with me and has given me information which leads me to the fact as i have stated that they have not ceased trading.

I have not paid a penny to them but had to know what the state of affairs was for the honouring of 5 year warranty on hardware that they had previously supplied us with. I feel that they like a lot of small businesses are feeling the credit crunch, only this company has been good enough to let me know this directly whereupon others I feel may not be in a position or willing to let people know.

I know someone (a reliable source) who recently made 2 orders with The IT Support Centre - 142 computers and 6 servers.

They tell me the monitors were delivered one day last week, and the computers were delivered today - 2 weeks ahead of their original estimated date. The servers were delivered last Friday.

Customers have now been sent a letter telling them that "due to a company re-structure" recent orders will be supplied and invoiced by Millenium Business Systems Limited.

Staff remain the same as do telephone numbers.

Millenium Business Systems do not appear on a Companies House search (it may be a new company?).

The company is based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

I have been told that at least one major supplier will not supply the new company.

I am happy to e mail anyone a copy of the letter if they PM me.

We can also help with any outstanding installations & quotes of course!

Having just dealt with ITsupportcentre aka Mikesoft and Millenium Business Systems, they have been a pleasure to work with in this most demanding of times, with finances the way they are at the moment within the industry, quite a few of the major supply companies are facing cashflow problems and not just in the IT industry so rather than change suppliers I supported the company who has supplied and supported me for the past 5 years with good quality equipment and excellent after sales support.

I only speak as I find ok

Thats fair enough, its nice to see customer loyalty in these difficult times.
We have had a number of schools contact us concerned about the multiple name changes and I was simply quoting from the latest letter sent to customers.

We or schools in the area no longer purchase from you anymore. This is due to the rudeness of your staff and £50 restocking fee per item.

Now that is bad name to change to as there is a company called Millennium computers which if search on here is not what you to be associated with.
