Recommend Me A Projector With Good Keystone

I am currently looking to replace a number of IWBs + PJ in Foundation and KS1 classrooms. Was looking to using the Epson EB-470 but have just been told that the boards must be as low as possible (40cm from the floor) so this rules these out. So I need some recommendations for projectors that have a large keystone range that would allow the projection to a Smartboard 660 from a standard pole install.

    Thanks in advance.

I am a fan of hitachi projectors and the auto keystone. Works a treat!

We have just rolled out 56 of these Epson EB-93e projectors around our site. They are great!!! They also have a quick corner feature which allows you to fit the picture to most boards. If you contact Epson they would probably let you trail on for a couple of weeks. They did with us.

Another vote for the Epson quick corner feature. It allows you to grab a single corner and drag it to the corner of the board. It made setting up a projector a breeze.

Sounds great but not fussed on how they keystone, just the range. With a projector ceiling mounted at 6 1/2 foot from the floor the bottom of projected square image needs to be 40cm from the floor.

If you ask Epson to borrow one, you should be able to test your scenario. They were very accommodating for us.

I don't want to have to borrow one. Epson should be able to tell me based on their technical data.

Indeed, I have always found it can be easier to try solutions yourself but that is just me. The link I posted earlier should take you to the page with the relevant technical information on for you. Hope you manage to find a solution to your issue.

I can't find a mention of that being able to be plugged into a PC to control it - only that you can use its built in capabilities via the touch pens it comes with. It doesn't have a USB port for example, other than for plugging in a memory stick.

Watch the video on my first link it shows people browsing directories and using the windows on screen keyboard. (also I found this TV for a 1000!

    LG 60PZ850T 60" 3D PenTouch Plasma TV

EDIT: just to be sure I dl the manual it says it has a pentouch program for xp and windows 7

EDIT2: infact the software they use in the video is running via a PC its not built in.

Looks like it connects via a wireless dongle of some form? (The specs have 'Dongle' listed). However, I'm still unsure - it doesn't show a normal windows desktop at any time, just their software... *Buys one immediately to try out*

Reason I'm so dubious, is we *just* bought 2 Clevertouch 55" screens for about 4k each or something like that!!

Yeap, the pens have a wireless usb dongle you plug into your PC. I was going through the manual. The pens recharge (don't know how) and you have to pair them with the dongle. There is a driver for the dongle and the pen touch software is seperate.

    Read the manual here:

I'll have to really think about getting one.
