    Clickview Digital Video Recorder: What codec do you use?

    Hi guys,

    I'm trying to import a video but the Clickview DVR does not run nicely with .mp4 files. What converter/file format do you use? (Preferably free)

    I use the free Microsoft Expression Encoder, its quick and chucks it into WMV format which is what it uses nativly anyway. As a plus it is really easy to use and quite quick in comparison to some of the other converters I have tried.

    Download: Expression Encoder 4 with SP1 - Microsoft Download Center - Download Details

    You can extract it into MSIs and push it out via GPO too and it also includes a screen and video capture program which is great for tutorial videos up to 10 min long.

    Don't use clickview, (although one of our other high schools has recently installed the system), but I use this for conversion:
