    Anyone find this device useful?

I've just come across this on Morgan Computers and at 29.95 seems an absolute steal for a device that can do all of this:
Brand New Sandisk V-Mate.. Record TV, DVD's, Freeview, Old Videos or anything you can connect on to a memory card! Then play it back on your portable device like a Mobile phone, Tablet PC, Media player, Satnav, Laptop or Netbook. Transfer the recorded media to your iPad, iPod etc and enjoy your favorite Movies, TV and more anywhere, anytime!
4670_large.gif id832-vmate-installation.jpg I'm sure some of you out there are looking for something that has this functionality! Buy Sandisk V-Mate Video Memory Card Recorder PVR & Video Converter at Morgan Computers

It's a shame about the resolution. 640x480 isn't even DVD quality.
