Broadcast PC to multiple devices
Hi All not been around for a long time as I no longer work in education. But today I have been asked for a solution that has education all over it.
I will try to explain what I need.
One person will do a presentation on a PC connected to a projector, but anyone with a wifi device should be able to connect to this presentation as long as they are on the wifi network or LAN and it must not be dependant on being a member of the domain. We would like to use Android tablets but we want it to be available for smart phones and laptops too in fact any device that could display a presentation.
I know in my education days we used I think "Net Op or Ranger" to show to entire classes so this must be available.

The business lingo for what you are trying to do is 'web conferencing'. There's plenty of suppliers for this sort of solution. Adobe Acrobat Connect, Citrix GotoMeeting, IBM Lotus Sametime, Cisco Unified Meeting Place, etc.

Hi thanks for the replies Geoff I get where you are going on my request but it's not quite what we are looking for. I downloaded the demo of Cisco Webex yesterday and play with it but there does seem to be limitations especially when you start to involve Apple devices and sound, and unfortunately many people use these. I will continue to look at the other suggestions you mentioned and see if any of them are more suitable.
Exim I look at you suggestion too thanks.
