    We bought the MovieBox kit and that works really well. Not cheap, but it comes with everything you need to make it work.

    I do it in primary, cheap as chips. 6mx8m green screen plus stands plus lights on stands approx 120 ebay, use a digital camera that takes movies (but an actual video camera would be better of course) and put it all together in Corel VideoStudio x4 54 Amazon. Not live chromakey but works. For live you could use Kudlian I can Present software, (there is a trial version).
    Example of one we did before the summer is here: Balby Central Primary School scroll down the page fro eco news, (the rockets vid is good as well but not chromakey, I'm just a big kid really)

    Have a dig around on youtube. There are quite a few people demonstrating homemade setups.
