Video out of sync with sound

Hope i can make good English out of this.

We record a program on clickview last night. But the sound is behind by 5 secs, (we got the recorded file from the temp folder of CV)

Is there an editor that is free that allows me to move the video audio to the light time scale?

    Many thanks.

I just had the same thing happen with a video of our kids on BBC News. I've go twixtor, which makes the task dead easy but that's not free and needs a good video editor as well.. You should be able to do it with moviemaker. (I haven't tried).

Alternatively, download a trial video editor.

With VLC you can adjust it, not sure if you can save the adjustment though.

I copied the audio from the video using aoa audio extractor (free trial). then in moviemaker import the video and mute it and then add the mp3 track from audio extractor - then fun job of trying to get the audio in correct position for video

I'd defo check it out then .. assuming the video is out of sync by a set amount all the way through, it's really good for pulling it back in line ..
