    Smartboard issue...

Noticed at 2 of the sites I visit there is a problem with a smartboard at each - if i draw a straight line down the right hand side of the board it ends up like the attached pic... This happens immediately after a calibration 9/20 point.

    Any idea's?

Any metal work or items such as unshielded speakers next to or near the board or behind it?

No, and the screw heads are covered with velcro so i don't think its the grounding issue

You may also want to check what you have screwed the board onto. We had a similar problem with an old porta cabin as there were still rods behiind the wall that one of the screws was touching. Rapping the screw ends with electrical tape solved the problem. You may also want to run the usb cable through a powered usb hub as this solved the issue in another school I worked in.

Check to see if the wall / board has warped / moved, if its well fixed to the wall then if the walls moved (If its timber studwork for example) it may have moved and skewed the board slightly.

Try totally removing the bottom screws behind the pen tray. Check the board for any small pin prick holes. If this has only just started, I would suspect the board too, has warped. Maybe happened due to the increased temperature in the rooms with the heating being used over the winter months.
