    Bit of an old thread, but I thought I might resurrect as I have xibo running as a screensaver on windows 7. (not tested XP)

    Screenlauncher from bartdart.com -- freeware for you works for me.

    You need to ctrl-alt-del to get back to a login.

    I've not looked at Xibo in a good while, but this got me thinking...

    Assuming I hosted the Xibo server on a proper server so that a suitable number of clients could connect without absolutely hosing it.. I'd presumably need to configure the server and each client so that the clients are registered as a "screen", yes?

    Yes - unless you where a bit cheeky and set each client up using the same UUID although you wouldn't be able to apply different things to different rooms etc. That should work but may cause some strange problems!

    If the information is not changing it shouldn't be a problem but it will create a folder in there docs called Xibo Library. It would download the info first time and then reference from there. and set the timeout to something quite large so not every machine is talking to the xibo host every 900 seconds etc.
