Projectors
I need to source 6 Projectors to replace ageing/failing HP ones that school has. They are to be ceiling mounted on existing poles/bracket. Does not have to be networked and the only stipulation is that the lens needs to be on the left when it is upside down as ceiling mount has been positioned for this.
Can anyone make any recommendations as the ones I have used in other schools Sharp PG-F150X have gone end of life and are no longer available. (please don't say HP as they have been a nightmare!!)

If these are SVGA projectors you may well find it difficult to source standard projectors that are going to be able to fit the screen. I tend to go for Hitachi but it's all a matter of preference.

3rd February 2010, 08:22 PM #4 At the moment we're spec'ing alot of NEC and Hitachi, although panasonic have a few new bits out which are useful. They're a bit more expensive but ideal for halls etc. where getting to them is a pain - 3 year warranty, self cleaning filter, with lense shift for mounting on existing brackets without worrying about L/R orientations.

I would agree with the above too, good quality projectors, service and price. If you shop around you can normally get a good deal including a free lamp too.
