    Could you download and convert them to MP3? Have to say that I haven't found a satisfactory alternative for BBC files, which is pain.

    When I click on the text on the page I am prompted to save the file, probably because I've set my browser to do that. You could right click the text and Save the link as ... Not got the converter to hand as it's on my machine at work, but a quick Google should bring up some free converters (that's if you can find a site to trust)

    Ah sorry my mistook. Don't suppose you can wait until I get to work tomorrow either. Maybe someone else will come up with the goods before then.

    VLC was the first thing i tried... Its not working

    Code:
    Your input can't be opened:
    VLC is unable to open the MRL 'rtsp://rmv8.bbc.net.uk/worldservice/africa/features/storyofafrica/04wking/4audio0a.ra'. Check the log for details.
    Thats from the file leco just attached

    (and i cant find a log it is referring to)

    @RabbieBurns:

    I have just downloaded those files I have just zipped up and tried to unzip and they are corrupt just like the ones leco uploaded. But the ones I downloaded from the website play fine in VLC.

    Are you trying to access them from behind a proxy by any chance? It may not like the file formats/file protocols or something silly like that.
