Wireless Projectors
Hi All,
Just thought I would get your opinions really.
I have been asked to quote a job to install some wireless projectors. However the client doesn't want any additional cables installed. i.e VGA and composite video.
I have installed wireless projectors in the past but always included VGA and video composite.
As i'm not really a user on a day to day basis, I just wanted to know what problems you find with them? Would you find it useful to have it hard wired also as a means of backup?
I know streaming video can be an issue unless its a certain format etc and the projecor has the facility to decode it.
Thanks
Phil

20th January 2010, 12:42 PM #2 It all depends on the data rate, some wirless connections are only meant for a powerpoint type presentation and not video, there are addons to make any projector full VGA wirless so they will stream HD video if required, but i would need to know more details about make of projector and what video are you hoping to stream.
