Does anyone know of an AV wallbox which allows the cables to connect to it vertically/sideways rather than at right angles to the wall. We are constantly getting cables damaged or ripped out by people wheeling around on their chairs or cables being accidentally tugged, in a few instances the entire AV box has been ripped of the wall.
Surely someone somewhere makes a longer thinner box which allows you to plug your cables up into the underside or side and keep all the cabling flush to the wall?
I appreciate that having decent desk positioning and layout can partially solve the problem, but unfortunately in most rooms we don't have that either...

Someone does but I am struggling to find it in my CPC catalogue..... It comes out of the edge of the box, its steel and modular I think!

Found it!
SAHARA|1770001|CABLE KIT, WITH WALL BOX, 10M | CPC
or AV13225 for a 15M version
Or AV17894 for a different set of options

Thanks!
Is the build quality of it good?

No idea myself as I haven't used them (I layout my rooms right, or they get missed off the list to sort)
BUT Sahara are a well known brand and the Projector Mounts are top notch so I would think they would also be good
The build quality is very very good, they are metal box with internally pluged in leads, i have not seen a better box.

Indeed, I'll second that.
We have a few of those in school, and they seem very well built/good quality
We had a couple of these AV Wall Outlets from Videk hooked up in rooms, seemed to be okay.
I have used those Sahara boxes and they are a solid metal box and all the connections are in line connections so no soldering inside.
I ordered two Sahara ones and am going to fit them this week, they do look sturdy and no soldering. Seems like a winner.
