    Corel VideoStudio is what our Media students use. In ICT, they use Serif MoviePlus, both of which are easy to use and are feature rich.

    I just discovered the free version of Serif Movie plus a couple of weeks ago - Free Movie Editing Software - MoviePlus Starter Edition from Serif

    Looks pretty good and I'm going to be including it on the build this summer

    I've just recently downloaded and been trying out Videopad by NCH Software. Seems pretty good, and can be used free for non-commercial use. Just watch out for any extras it tries to install...

    Download VideoPad directly from the NCH website and you won't get any extra rubbish installed like you do with most software downloaded through Download.com.
